DIO Appoints New Chief Executive

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) has appointed Graham Dalton as its new Chief Executive.

Having spent seven years as Chief Executive of the Highways Agency and, for a short time, Highways England, Mr Dalton has spent his career in the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of large infrastructure.

As a chartered civil engineer, his experience includes railways, power generation and ports. He has also worked for a large engineering consultancy, an international construction contractor and spent several years on the delivery of large projects in the Middle East and Far East.

He will take up his new role on Monday, 10 October.
