Willmott Dixon has won a £17 million deal to build a new hotel in Portsmouth.
The contractor will deliver a new 154-bed hotel for Village Hotel Club in Lakeside New Harbour.
Designed by 3DReid, the project will the first of the new Village Hotel concept and will include conference facilities, a leisure club with a 20-metre swimming pool, a gym and a fitness studio.
The scheme is one of a number of contracts awarded to Willmott Dixon in the hotel sector, with the company's Interior's division also being selected to refurbish several Travel Lodge hotels in Newcastle and Dudley.
Other contract wins for the firm include building Dorsett City Hotel adjacent to Aldgate underground station in London, a new Premier Inn hotel in Beverley, Novotel in Brentford and Holiday Inn on Commercial Road in east London.
