The first phase of an £11 million apartment scheme in Manchester is now complete.
Forrest has delivered the eight-storey building comprising 111 apartments for X1 Developments off Great Ancoats street.
The completion of phase one at X1 Eastbank marks the first of three contracts Forrest will deliver for the developer, totalling £55.5m. The contractor is also delivering the 19-storey 'X1 The Gateway' tower in Salford Quays.
Neil Ashworth, head of new build at Forrest said: "Our appointment to the X1 Eastbank scheme marked our entry into large-scale private residential sector (PRS) development. Since then, we have established a strong partnership with X1 Developments, and the sector continues to be a driver for our growth plans."
Melissa Green, Operations and Regional Director of X1 said: "The speed which units in X1 Eastbank sold at is a testament to the quality development that we have produced. With demand in the market continuing to rise, we look forward to seeing similar results from our upcoming schemes currently being constructed by Forrest."
