Planning permission has been granted for a £83 million tower block scheme in Liverpool.

A joint venture (JV) between Moda Living and Apache Capital is proposing to build the 34-storey 'Lexington' tower in the Liverpool Waters neighbourhood.

The scheme forms part of the Peel Group's £5.5 billion regeneration 'masterplan' and will comprise of 304 apartments alongside 15,000 sq ft of amenity space.

The JV will retain ownership of the property and will operate it through its partnership. It is the third project to be brought forward by the organisation, having previously secured planning for the £128m Angels Gardens development in Manchester and the £145m 450-apartment block on Broad Street in Birmingham.
