The body of the third missing demolition worker has been recovered from the collapsed Didcot A Power Station site in Oxfordshire.

The remains of John Shaw, 61, were taken from the site on Sunday, 11 September.

He is the last of four men to be located following the collapse of a boiler house during demolition preparatory works on 23 February. The other three victims were Chris Huxtable, Mick Collings and Kenny Cresswell.

Thames Valley Police said the family of John Shaw were being supported by specially trained police Family Liaison Officers.

Mark Coleman, Managing Director of Coleman & Company, who employed the four victims, said: "For the families, the loss of their husbands, partners, fathers, brothers and sons is an absolute tragedy and everyone at Coleman & Company is deeply sorry for their loss.

"The families of Chris Huxtable, Kenny Cresswell and John Shaw, have had to endure an agonising wait for their loved ones to be recovered and during this time we have witnessed a spirit of togetherness and support for each other.

"All the families are in our thoughts and prayers and we remain committed to supporting them in anyway we can."
