The Construction Industry Research & Information Association (CIRIA) has strengthened its senior team by appointing Dirk Vennix as its Chief Executive.
With nearly 25 years' experience across private and not-for-profit sectors in the UK, Mr Vennix will succeed Bill Healy who continues to support the CIRIA's work across Buildoffsite and BIM.
Recently, Mr Vennix helped to launch the Confederation of Timber Industries, which represents the UK's Timber supply chain from Forest to end of life recycling.
CIRIA Chairman, John Connaughton, said: "It's an exciting time for CIRIA, and the Board and I are looking forward to working with Dirk to help build on CIRIA's achievements, both for our members and the wider industry. Dirk's considerable track-record in delivering value for members and bringing industry together, along with his energy and enthusiasm, make him well-placed to ensure CIRIA's continued success."
Mr Vennix added: "I am looking forward to working with our members and other key stakeholders to champion performance improvement even further across construction and the built environment."
