A property firm has been fined for fly-tipping more than half a tonne of waste.
Peter Tisdale, of That Property Group Clifton Ltd, St Pancras Way, London, was fined £2,000 at Bristol Magistrates Court.
He was also ordered to pay £500 costs and £120 victim surcharge.
He pleaded guilty to fly-tipping on land at Kings Road, Clifton, Bristol, on Friday, 13 November.
That Property Group Clifton Ltd was developing a property on the former WH Smith site off Clifton Down Road at the corner of Kings Road and Boyces Avenue at the time of the offences.
During the weekend of Saturday 07 and Sunday 08 November 2015 a hoarding on the pavement of Kings Road blew down exposing more than half a tonne of waste, including old Christmas trees, white plastic banners and building waste.
Following complaints, a Bristol City Council officer visited the site on Friday 13 November asking for the site to be cleared without delay.
The officer stated that a prosecution would be brought forward for the waste being left in this state for a prolonged period. The waste was cleared on Saturday 14 November.
