Plans have been submitted to build a new office development at Oxford Science Park.
Designed by Bogle Architects, the 61,500 sq ft office will be capable of accommodating 500 employees and is to be built on Plot 12, a 1.2 hectare site in the centre of the Park.
The scheme is the first of several projects planned at the park by Oxford University's Magdalen College, which plans to build an additional 300,000 sq ft of office and laboratory space in the next five to seven years.
The four-storey Plot 12 building will be built to a BREAAM 'Very Good' rating and is to include car and cycle parking spaces.
Piers Scrimshaw-Wright, Managing Director of the Park, said: "With Plot 12 we have an opportunity to build the next logical and natural expansion to the Park. Our proposal is to speculatively build efficient and flexible, energy efficient accommodation that supports high value business growth and the local economy."
