APP Construction has been selected to deliver a new £4 million student accommodation project in Sheffield.
The contractor will build the seven-storey 63-bed project for developer KMRE Group on Trippet Lane near the University of Sheffield's North Campus.
Features of the development includes a mixture of studios and one- to three-bedroom apartments, as well as a gym, meeting rooms, a secure courtyard, a common room and a private cinema room.
The project teams includes Niemen Architects, Voke Consulting and Simba Consulting.
APP Construction director John White said: "We're looking forward to getting up and running following the completion of an extensive archaeological survey at the site. This modern scheme will offer Sheffield's university population some of the highest quality accommodation when it is finished next year."
The project is to be completed in time for the 2017/18 academic year.
