Construction consultancy Pick Everard has appointed Jon Parry as its new Northern regional director.

With over 20 years' experience in the industry, Mr Parry will join the firm's Manchester office and is responsible for leading the firms multi-disciplinary services in the North.

With a background in building surveying, Mr Parry also has experience in a number of sectors including 'affordable' housing, student accommodation, retail, commercial, arts and leisure as well as multi-site and multi project delivery.

Duncan Green, managing partner at Pick Everard, said: "Jon is hugely experienced within the construction industry and we are very pleased that he will be heading up our Manchester office and implementing our strategy for growth in the northern region.

"The northern market, particularly given the increasing emphasis on the Northern Powerhouse, is one that we believe offers a great deal of opportunity for growth for Pick Everard, which will allow us to build on the already excellent client base we have there."
