Morgan Sindall is continuing work on a £10 million expansion project at City University London.

The firm is extending the ground floor and level one of the university campus hub building in Northampton Square.

In addition, the company will create a 240-seat lecture theatre and remodel the main entrance of the building. The new theatre will replace the current Graduate Learning Centre.

Morgan Sindall is also delivering external works for the university, including stone pavements and seating areas surrounding the hub building, and the project is to be completed in time for the new academic year.

Ed Kevin, Head of Projects at City University London, said: "This is a very important project for the university, one which is a keystone to recent capital development of our Northampton Square site. When complete, it will link together various other large scale improvements we have recently introduced and provide a stunning 'front door' for the university."
