A historic building in Stockport is to reopen this weekend following a £1.6 million redevelopment project.
The Grade-I listed Bramall Hall was closed in September 2014 to undergo renovation works funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Features of the project included the restoration of the Withdrawing Room's plaster ceiling, repairing hundreds of leaded windows, installing new period piece furnishings, creating a new visitors centre, classrooms, a shop and a new café.
Cllr Kate Butler said: "Bramall Hall's re-opening is exciting news and we can't wait for visitors to step inside this wonderful building once more."
