McBains Cooper has been selected to provide consultancy services on a new Build to Rent (BTR) scheme in London.
Real estate company Patrizia UK plans to create a 150,000 sq ft commuter-belt featuring 108 apartments on the site of the former Trocoll House office building in Barking.
McBains Cooper will deliver architecture, project management and cost management services for the project, which is to begin construction at the end of this year.
Mark Leeson, director of Design at McBains Cooper, said: "We are delighted to have been chosen to deliver this project, based on our expertise in Build to Rent and technical capability.
"The project is Patrizia's first Build to Rent investment in London, and will be the most significant development in Barking to date."
The consultancy has already overseen the £115 million Delancey and Oakmayne Properties Elephant Road development in the Elephant and Castle regeneration zone.
The project will complete this autumn and features 373 rental units, retail units, restaurants and a cinema.
