A programme of resurfacing work is due to begin this month on the A36, Highways England has announced.
Workers will begin repairing the northbound and southbound lanes of the Warminster road between Church Lane, Monkton Combe and the Midford Lane/Church Lane junction at Limpley Stoke from Monday, 27 June until Tuesday, 19 July.
The 16-night project will take place between 9pm – 6am and diversions will be in place.
Highways England project manager Maduabuchi Ani said: "The full closures will be in place to enable us to complete these essential repairs as quickly as possible, and the work is being restricted to weeknights only to keep disruption to a minimum."
