The University of Wolverhampton is due to begin the tender process for a £20 million redevelopment project in the centre of the city.
The old Springfield Brewery site has been purchased by the University to be transformed into a new home for its School of Architecture and Built Environment (SOABE) by 2019.
Features of the circa 8,250m2 development includes refurbishing the existing building as well as developing a new structure with a 45-space car park.
In addition, the project will be built to a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating.
The contract is due to be awarded in February 2017, with a view to begin construction in March the same year.
A bidders day for interested companies to find out more information about the project will be held at the University between 8:30am – 10:30am on Wednesday, 29 June.
