VolkerWessels UK has revealed plans to expand its head office in Hertfordshire.
The company, which has an annual turnover of £850 million, is due to launch a planning consultation over proposals to extend its Hoddesdon head office.
With around 300 staff based at its head office and around 2,500 in the UK, it is estimated this will increase through future expansion plans.
Plans include creating more parking and improved office space for staff, an enhanced VolkerWessels UK Academy with modern training facilities and a 24 new family homes.
The proposed housing will be designated as either key worker or starter homes and aims to help buyers climb onto the property ladder.

A public consultation is due to begin soon and will include a microsite and public exhibition on site.
