Network Homes has appointed Wates Living Space Homes to build a £48 million housing development in London.
The company will deliver 177 new homes including 1,358 sq m of retail/community space at Stockwell Park.
Designed by PRP Architects, the Thrayle House project will get underway this month following the developers completion of the 20-storey Park Heights apartment building.
In addition, Wates Living Space Homes has made a commitment to create extensive opportunities for on-site training and employment for local people.
Joanne Jamieson, MD of Wates Living Space Homes, said: "Our role as developer at Thrayle House builds on our strengthening relationship with Network Homes and our continued role in the transformation of the Stockwell Park Estate. We wholeheartedly share in Network Homes' ambitious vision for this regeneration scheme, to create high quality and high specification homes for local people, whilst bringing extensive benefit to the local community."
