Graham Construction has been selected to deliver a new building for The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
Planning permission for the new North Block building at the School's Swiss Cottage site was received in March 2015.
Work is expected to begin in July/August, with the estimated completion date in early 2018.
Designed by Tim Ronalds Architects, works will extend the School's teaching, rehearsal and performance spaces, and include the addition of studios for film/media training, along with a new public, courtyard theatre.
Graham's London Office Director, Rob Joyce, said: "The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's vision to provide high quality, bespoke teaching and performance spaces that meet its students' needs and uphold its world-leading reputation, will be further realised with this development.
"Distinctive, fit-for-purpose theatrical and performing arts facilities will integrate with local architecture and contribute to the surrounding cultural quarter, creating a long-term sustainable solution."
