Britcon has secured five new building deals with Lidl UK, it has been announced.
Overall, the company will deliver 11 contracts valued at around £18 million for the supermarket chain.
Projects include demolishing an existing Lidl store in Ripley, Derbeyshire to build a new 74,000 sq ft purpose designed store, including a new bakery.
Other features include external works such as drainage, parking provision, highways access and landscaping.
Britcon will also deliver extension projects for Lidl in Sheffield and Harborough, as well as building new outlets in Barnsley and Bradford city centre.
Paul Clarkson, MD of Britcon, said: "It is rewarding to see that our partnership with Lidl is proving successful as we secure further contracts. We understand retail construction well and bring added value with a one stop solution to Lidl.
"To be able to manage the entire process of demolition, site preparation and new build plus ancillaries gives peace of mind to the Lidl estates team which is pursuing a busy expansion programme."
