Emergency resurfacing repairs have been completed on the Blackwall Tunnel in London.
A large spillage of fuel and hydraulic fluid covering 1.1km of the route forced the tunnel to be closed on Tuesday.
Transport for London (TfL) said CCTV footage has shown the leaking fluid came from a mobile crane as it drove through the tunnel.
Contractors immediately cleared the spillage and began resurfacing the road.
It is understood the tunnel, which was closed for around 20 hours, has now been reopened.
