Forrest has been selected to deliver a £12.6 million residential project in Manchester.

The contractor will develop the M-One Central high rise scheme for Factory Estates Limited in Great Ancoats Street.

Designed by architects IDP Group, the project will comprise of 119 one and two-bedroom apartments built over 12 storeys, including communal spaces, a roof-level terrace, a ground-flood gym for residents and a new landscaped public square.

In addition, the building will be clad in oxidised metal panels to complement neighbouring structures.

Construction is due to begin at the end of this month, with completion scheduled for summer 2017.
