Persimmon Homes has started developing the second phase of a new housing development in Wales.
Preparations are taking place on the roads and sewers for the next stage of the Cross Hands scheme near Cefneithin.
Once complete, the development will consist of 127 homes.
Sharon Robinson, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said: "We're pleased to be taking the initial steps towards phase two of Maes y Parc.
"We're delighted with the new homes we have already built and we're looking forward to watching this site develop as the months and the years go by."
Construction on the next batch of new houses is due to begin towards the end of the year.
