Amiri To Build £19m Food Manufacturing Facility In West Sussex

Amiri Construction has been selected to deliver a £19 million manufacturing facility in West Sussex.

The company has been appointed by Kingsbridge Estates to build over 11,000 sq m of manufacturing space for Natures Way Foods (NWF) at Chichester Food Park.

The facility has been designed by MH Architects and includes a low-energy, sustainable chilled building.

Other features include a curved solar PV roof and silver surface to ensure heat reflection, while the building will also have a roof drainage system to capture rainwater and run off to the nearby pond systems.

Construction is now underway and is due to be completed by Spring 2017.

Robert Langmead, owner of Kingsbridge Estates, said: "We are proud to be investing in such a high quality sustainable development, and we look forward to working closely with Amiri Construction to create a first class food facility at Chichester.
