Keepmoat has launched a new office in Leeds which is aiming to deliver hundreds of new homes in West Yorkshire.

The company's operations director for Yorkshire, Ian Hoad, will lead the division which plans to develop 500-600 homes a year in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Kirklees.

Mr Hoad said: "The day we opened the new office was the day we secured a landmark £142m project with Strata Homes to build around 1,000 new homes on brownfield land in Leeds.  This further justified our belief that the demand for new homes is bigger than ever and it was the perfect start for our new team in Leeds.

"Since we announced plans to open an office in Leeds, we've even had a number of suppliers bring their business here too – which is fantastic for commerce."

Keepmoat's Yorkshire West team is also preparing plans for home schemes in Wakefield and Bradford, as well as delivering 501 homes on land at the Seacroft Hospital site in Leeds.
