LG Motion Unveils XSlide Assembly

Construction News Image
Motion control specialist LG Motion can offer a compact low cost linear positioning stage with a manual or motorised drive.

Available from stock and backed up by the comprehensive expert design and application service offered by the team at LG Motion, XSlide is already serving a wide range of industrial and science applications around the world.

The design is based on the BiSlide assembly, incorporating the dovetail ways, cleat mounting, and the slide/bearing construction. The 45 degree opposing dovetail ways on the BiSlide and XSlide assemblies provide the highest rigidity for their size compared to other dovetail designs.

The XSlide assembly offers a very capable positioning slide for its size and price. The simple design and versatility enables it to be used either singularly or in multi-axis assemblies. XSlide is manufactured from high grade aluminium alloy precision extrusion with low friction polymer bearings fitted to the slider for long service life, which are free from significant wear.
