Planning has been approved for an 11-storey apartment building development in Manchester.
The 86-apartment City Gardens scheme in Castlefield was granted approval at a city council meeting on 07 April.
The project signals the third phase of a major redevelopment plan by DeTrafford Estates Group.
City Gardens will sit alongside two other DeTrafford developments, The Sky Gardens and The Roof Gardens, One Ellesmere Street, and is part of a wider master plan for the area which includes 1,300 new homes, a public square, courtyards and tree-lined walkways, together with 30,000 sq ft of commercial space.
Work is now underway on phase one, The Roof Gardens, One Ellesmere Street, and all apartments/townhouses have been sold.
The 14-month construction phase will be delivered by builder Pochin's, with work due to begin this summer.
Gary Jackson, Founder and Director of DeTrafford Estates, said: "This approval allows us to move forward with the third phase of our development featuring roof garden living. It marks another milestone in the delivery of the proposed master plan for the area and supports its continuing transformation."
