Nexen has awarded Wood Group (WGPSN) a £100 million contract to continue operations, maintenance and technical services across its North Sea offshore assets.
The Aberdeen-based energy services firm will maintain various offshore platforms, including the Buzzard, Scott and Golden Eagle platforms.
The five-year contract extension also secures over 190 jobs.
James Crawford, WGPSN's MD in the UK and Africa, said the contract renewal demonstrates its successful relationship with Nexen.
"Working in partnership with Nexen, we have proactively added value, maximized productivity and enhanced efficiency and safety across these assets," he said.
In addition, WGPSN secured a two-year contract extension with TAQA to provide engineering, construction and maintenance services to five UKCS offshore assets.
In February, the company also won an extension to support Chevron Upstream Europe across four offshore assets in the North Sea.
