Britcon Delivers New £4.2m Technical Centre At Sheffield AMP

Britcon has delivered a new £4.2 million technical centre facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Sheffield.

Working alongside AHR Architects and WYG Engineers, Britcon built the 32,291 sq ft facility for the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

The building was developed to provide grow on space for advanced manufacturing and engineering businesses.

Built to a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating, the centre includes five split level workshops plus dedicated office space.

The 100-acre AMP supports businesses that provide technology solutions for use in precision industries including aerospace, defence, construction, automotive, sport and others.

Ian Chapman, Regional Manager at Britcon, said: "We are delighted to complete this major contract through our Yorkshire office. Our combined design and build capabilities and sector track record has successfully delivered a one stop solution for the HCA."
