McLaren Construction has secured a deal to redevelop the Camden Town Hall Annexe into a hotel in King's Cross.
The cut and carve refurbishment and extension contract involves turning the iconic building into a 270-room boutique hotel for Crosstree Real Estate Partners.
Plans for the hotel have been designed by ORMS, with Interior design by Shawn Hausman of LA and London-based Archer Humphreys Architects.
The building will be formed through extensive internal and external renovation, involving the construction of three new floors in the form of a steel frame box on top of the existing structure.
In addition, the structures west stair core will be removed to open up a new north-south route at ground level through Tonbridge passage.
