Engineering services firm Renew has revealed its chief executive, Brian May, is due to retire this year.
In a trading update this morning, 31 March, the Leeds-based company announced Mr May will step down in September.
He will be succeeded by Paul Scott, who joined the board in July 2014 as Director of Engineering Services.
Having been with the Group for over 15 years, Mr Scott was previously MD of Shepley Engineers.
Renew also announced Andries Liebenberg, MD of its largest business Amco Rail, has been appointed to the Board with immediate effect.
Overall, the company said trading for the first half of the year was operating in line with expectations.
The Board added it 'anticipates reporting an increased forward order book and a reduction in net debt' within its interim results in May.
