Heathrow has announced the four winning companies to help develop its £16 billion expansion project.
Mace, Arup, CH2M and Turner & Townsend have all secured places as partners.
The project aims to create a 'world class, sustainable hub airport', with the Government's independent Airports Commission unanimously recommending the expansion in July last year.
It is predicted the programme will boost the UK economy by up to £211bn, creating 180,000 jobs and 10,000 apprenticeships.
Ian Ballentine, Heathrow Director of Procurement, said: "I'm delighted that our client partners are now on board and I look forward to working with them to give the UK a truly world-class, sustainable hub airport.
"This privately financed, £16bn project will benefit the whole UK as we work to widen the supply-chain right across the nation."
