SES Achieves BRE BIM Level 2 Certification

Wates' engineering division, SES Engineering Services (SES), has achieved BRE BIM Level 2 Business Certification.

It is the first mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor (MEP) contractor to achieve the standard one month ahead of the government's April deadline.

SES has been using 3D modelling on projects for over 15 years and embedding data into modles since 2010.

Guy Hammersley, BRE Director, BIM, said: "Being the first MEP company to achieve BIM business certification represents a great achievement for SES, we hope their positive action will encourage others to follow their lead and keep pace with this business critical industry development."
