Instarmac's Flowpoint Utilised At MBR City In Dubai

Flowpoint, part of the UltraScape Mortar Paving System available from Instarmac, has been specified, and used, to grout 9,000m² of granite stone at MBR City in Dubai.

MBR (Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum) City in Dubai is the definition of luxury. The 45 million square feet development brings together striking villas and mansions, beaches, crystal lagoons and beautiful architecture.

MBR City - District One is home to flagship retailers, fine dining, 600 acres of park lands, 8km of shared cycling tracks and 90 acres of crystal lagoons - the first of its kind and largest in the world.

MBR City is the epitome of luxurious living and so it was crucial that the materials used to build this development were aesthetically pleasing.

Flowpoint Smooth, supplied by Instarmac's partner in Dubai, Tanseeq LLC, was specified to grout 9,000m² of granite stone throughout MBR City. It was also used to grout a number of roundabouts throughout District One.

Flowpoint Smooth is a flowable grout which allows for large areas of paving to be grouted quickly. What's more, Flowpoint Smooth can receive foot traffic in 1 hour and  vehicular traffic in just 4 hours - essential for sites such as this one.

Construction continued whilst the paving was installed with a number of heavy goods vehicles travelling across the paved area each day demonstrating Flowpoint Smooth's exceptional capabilities in areas of heavy traffic with vehicles turning frequently.

Flowpoint Smooth is available in 2 colours - Charcoal and Natural Grey - the latter was used on this project to compliment the granite stone.

Flowpoint Smooth is available in Dubai through Tanseeq LLC. To contact Tanseeq please call +971 (04) 361 7199 or visit www.tanseeqllc.com
