Willmott Dixon has secured a £6.5 million contract to build a technology centre in Lincoln.
The facility will be built in Boole and is part of the Lincoln Science & Innovation Park, a joint venture between the University of Lincoln and the Lincolnshire Co-op.
In addition, the project was procured through the Scape Major Works framework.
Works include demolishing existing warehouse units and building a new two-storey steel framed building to include new office space and laboratories, along with refurbishment of the existing sub-station building.
Peter Owen, MD of Willmott Dixon construction Birmingham, said: "We are very pleased to be working on the Boole Technology Centre, the science and technology industry is a very important sector for us, helping to provide facilities for ground-braking research and businesses to flourish."
