Commercial property estate agent JLL has appointed Matt Neave as Director within its Building Consultancy division.
With over 15 years building surveying and project management experience, Mr Neave was previously employed at Macegreen Consultancy.
He also worked as co-director of the dilapidations team at Deloitte Real Estate between 2010-12, and has carried out work for a variety of clients, including Schroders, The Pollen Estate and Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management.
JLL said the appointment will strengthen the company's offering in London and the city's wider market.
Rob Knight, Head of Building Consultancy, said: "Matt is a fantastic addition to our City based Building Consultancy team, and he has been brought in to focus on growing our refurbishment offer in Central London and emerging office hotspots including Kings Cross, East London and Croydon.
"Having been co-director of the dilapidations team at Deloitte Real Estate between 2010-12, his extensive experience advising both investors and occupiers will also help reinforce what is already a very strong part of our offer."
Mr Neave added: "I am really looking forward to working with Rob and the rest of the team; they have an impressive track record, great clients and fantastic access to local market knowledge.
"Combining this with my experience will enable me to give the best advice to clients to help them refurbish their buildings to meet the requirements of modern occupiers and enhance the value of their assets."
