Lovell project manager Peter Lewis said: "Following the successful completion of the first phase of redevelopment work at Queens Park, phase 2 is now under way. We're excited to be working on the next stage of this major scheme which is transforming the neighbourhood and creating modern, high-quality homes for local people.

"Public safety and security are, of course, our top priority as the demolition work goes ahead. We aim to minimise the number of residents affected and will be communicating with them and keeping them fully informed throughout. I'd also like to thank residents and local businesses for the patience, understanding and support which they have shown our team during the redevelopment work."
