Lakesmere has won a £5 million contract to help deliver a new leisure-led regeneration scheme in Southampton.
The Group will work alongside main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine to deliver the WestQuay Watermark scheme at WestQuay Shopping Centre.
Designed by architects ACME, Phase one of the project involves building a new ten-screen cinema, restaurants and a large public plaza area at the retail site.
Lakesmere will undertake the design, supply and installation of the full external weather envelope, including the composite cladding which forms the inner weatherproof skin, and curtain walling that is being fabricated by McMullen Facades.
The schemes specially designed noise reduction roof will also be delivered by the Group, along with the installation of photo-voltaic panels.
The first phase of the WestQuay Watermark development is set to open in Autumn 2016.
