Gilbert-Ash has completed two major construction projects worth over £44 million in London.

The first scheme involved building the £22m Fetal Medicine Research Institute occupied by the Fetal Medicine Foundation of Harley Street and King's College Hospital.

The 5,255m2 centre involved partially demolishing and refurbishing existing terrace houses on the site while retaining the front façade.

The three-storey facility with a two-storey basement was developed and connected to the structurally altered houses.

In addition, Gilbert-Ash also completed the £22m headquarters of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) at Savoy Place.

The scheme involved an extensive refurbishment of the areas heritage along with a number of improvements.

Over 90,000 sq ft of event space was created to provide a modern home for the IET.
