McL&H Delivers Second Stage Of £32m Teesport Project

The second phase of a £32 million redevelopment project in Middlesborough is now complete.

McLaughlin & Harvey (McL&H) has delivered Phase 2 of the reconstruction of No.1 Quay for client PD Ports at Teesport.

The project supports the ports future growth and allows larger vessels to dock with greater loads on the quayside.

So far, the development has involved demolishing and reconstructing 550 metres of suspended deck quay.

To mark the milestone, a topping-out ceremony was held on Friday, 19 February with former Deputy Prime Minister Lord Heseltine and Communities Secretary Greg Clark.
