Wates has reached a major milestone on a primary school project in Blackburn.
The contractor has completed the steel frame of the new two-storey Olive Primary School on Meins Road.
Work on the new 2,943 sq m building began in September last year.
The 630-capacity school is set to move into its new home in time for the 2016 academic year.
Work is now underway to install the roofing and building envelope in time for the schemes completion this summer.
Tony Shenton, Business Unit Director of Wates, said: "Wates' role as main contractor at Olive School in Blackburn is owing to our proficiency in building strong relationships with our clients, relationships that enable us to understand and subsequently deliver on their needs."
