Specialist builder Box & Charnock has won an £11 million M&E contract for a mixed-use project in north London.
The contractor will carry out works for the St James Group's new Smithfield Square development in Haringey.
Plans for the 5.25 acre site include building 440 apartments, a large Sainsbury's supermarket, retail and commercial space, plus private and public landscaped gardens.
Box and Charnock will provide M&E services to the four apartment blocks and the Sainsbury's superstore via a dedicated energy centre.
Other services include plumbing; heating; ventilation systems; electrics; lighting; security systems; data and Wi-Fi services.
Steven Box, joint MD at Box and Charnock, said: "We are delighted to have secured the contract to deliver the mechanical and electrical services at Smithfield Square which is our first contract with St James."
