VolkerFitzpatrick has started developing a £23 million office project in west London.
The 'Foundry' is being built on behalf of Axa Real Estate and its development manager Bell Hammer.
The project is part of the wider three-acre 'Assembly' office development on Fulham Palace Road in Hammersmith.
Features of the 220,000 sq ft four-building scheme includes re-landscaped public realm and an underground car park refurbishment.
The first stage of work involves developing two new buildings designed by architects TP Bennett, 'Foundry' and '1 Smith's Square'.
The two facilities will deliver 150,000 sq ft of office space along with 20,000 sq ft of retail and restaurant space.
Works on the 'Foundry' include the back to frame refurbishment and extension of the original structure along with internal remodelling.
Rakesh Chavda, VolkerFitzpatrick project manager said: "We are delighted to deliver 'Foundry' to compliment the rest of the planned development at 'Assembly' London."
Works to the 'Foundry' are expected to be complete early in 2017.
