UltraCrete Instant Road Repair has recently been used to repair potholes on the Gardiner Expressway in Canada.
Located in front of the famous Rogers Stadium, home to the Blue Jays Baseball Team, and the CN Tower, the world's tallest building for 34 years, the Gardiner Expressway is the main route in an out of downtown Toronto.
Toronto City had been looking for a pothole repair product that would outperform the current methods used after a number of failed installations - the previous repair lasting only two weeks.
The expressway regularly surpasses traffic volumes of over 110,000 each day, which meant the chosen pothole repair product would need to withstand heavy and constant trafficking and keep disruption to motorists as minimal as possible.
After careful research, Toronto City trialled world renowned UltraCrete Instant Road Repair for the repair. The trial was so successful that Instant Road Repair is now the chosen repair method for the Gardiner Expressway.
UltraCrete Instant Road Repair was installed in December 2015 on West Bound FGGE Lane 3 at the Spadina Off Ramp in the travel portion of the right wheel rut with great success.
UltraCrete Instant Road Repair is a first time permanent pothole repair which has been continuously developed over the past 35 years all around the world with excellent results. It is being used on a daily basis in all climates, from the snow bound island of Hokkaido in Japan, to the tropical monsoon hit roads of Malaysia, in the freezing cold Scandinavian winters, the heat of the Namibian desert and the temperate climates of Europe.
There are many cold lay asphalt repair products available, but UltraCrete backs up its technical claims. Strength is gained by compaction, becoming stronger the more traffic that travels over it, making it perfect for heavily trafficked roads, areas of vehicle turning and breaking eg. traffic lights and junctions. UltraCrete's Instant Road Repair has been specially formulated to allow flexible movement within the road surface, ensuring a long-term durable repair.
Applied in 3 easy steps - clean, pour, compact - UltraCrete Instant Road Repair can be applied in all weathers including hot, wet and cold - it can even be used in freezing temperatures.
This innovative material has been independently tested by the British Board of Agrément and is proven to be a quality, flexible and durable solution for first time instant and permanent pothole repairs.
UltraCrete Instant Road repair is now available in Ontario, Canada through Da-Lee Dust Control: www.daleedustcontrol.com
