Wates has completed an £800,000 insulation upgrade at a tower block in Birmingham.
The project was carried out by G Purchase (a division of Wates Living Space Maintenance) at Kitts Green on behalf of the city council.
The work included refurbishing the 1950's buildings, resulting in significantly better energy efficiency.
Stewart Reid, Business Director for Wates, said: "We've worked closely with residents and also used an innovative insulation application system, which required less extensive enabling works, in order to minimise disruption.
"The investment has injected new life into the blocks, improved insulation and brought them in line with modern requirements, significantly improving energy efficiency which will ultimately serve to enhance the quality of life for residents."
