Upgrade work is due to get underway on the M271 junction 1 in Hampshire, Highways England has announced.
Developer Barker Mill Estates will carry out the work from Monday, 18 January.
The nine month project involves widening slip roads and installing traffic lights to support a new Lidl distribution centre nearby.
The work will involve various lane closures and overnight slip road closures.
Highways England project sponsor Kat Saradinova said: "The improvements to the junction will provide additional capacity and support local development.
"We have worked with the developers to ensure that any disruption to drivers and local residents is minimised."
