Willmott Dixon has announced it now has over 3,000 homes in its development pipeline.
The company's development business, Regen, recently purchased a 1.1 hectare development site at Mill Hill in North London.
The £100m project will build a total of 188 homes, with 29 properties being made 'affordable'.
This latest acquisition follows approval for Brentford FC's new 20,000 seat stadium which will also see 900 new homes created on two sites.
Other recently secured schemes include 600 homes for private rent in Barking, 135 homes in Godalming, a further 88 in Cheshunt and 95 in Sevenoaks, which involves converting a former office into a residential block.
In addition, 1,176 homes will be built at Aberfeldy Village in Poplar E14, with experts working alongside Westminster City Council to deliver 156 homes, including new leisure facilities, on two sites.
Willmott Dixon's purchase at MillHill represents the latest phase of Millbrook Park's regeneration, which is creating a new community in north London.
When completed, there will be 2,174 new high quality homes set in landscaped parkland, together with shops, offices and a new primary school.
Andrew Telfer, chief executive at Willmott Dixon Regen, said: "Millbrook Park's high quality mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, together with a number of three and four-bedroom houses in a popular location with good transport links, exactly fits the scale and type of homes we develop through Prime Place.
"Our ambition in 2016 is to continue to grow the number of homes we are developing, either on site or going through planning, for both Prime Place and Be:here, our private market rent business."
