Engineering consultancy WYG has purchased Signet Planning Limited.
It is understood the deal is worth £3.7 million.
WYG stated the purchase is part of its planned growth strategy following on form its merger with Alliance Planning in September 2014.
Recently, it has acquired a number of businesses including FMW Consultancy, North Associates (Cumbria) and Taylor & Hardy.
