David Lohfink, Land and Planning Director at C G Fry and Son, said: "WYG's innovative planning and hard work has helped to create a high quality, urban extension that supports the housing needs of Wellington.  Development of the site will represent an efficient use of land with high quality design, creating a genuinely integrated community and an attractive environment."

Robin Upton, WYG Planning Director, added: "We are delighted to be seeing all our hard work come to fruition, from the allocation of the site in the Council's Core Strategy, the production and adoption of the Development Brief and now the approval of outline planning permission."
