Arup and ITM Power have announced they are to work together on developing hydrogen energy and fuel systems.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement will see the two company's work with organisations in the transport and utilities sectors.
Both Arup and ITM Power will look for sites to develop hydrogen technology.
Dr. Graham Cooley, CEO, ITM Power, said: "ITM Power are pleased to announce this agreement with Arup, which is an excellent opportunity to identify new sites for hydrogen refuelling stations and other energy related projects."
In addition, the partnership will work alongside different cities looking at new ways of reducing their carbon footprint.
