NG Bailey's Offsite Manufacturing (OM) division has won an accolade at the Offsite Construction Awards.
The division scooped the prize for 'Best Use of MEP Prefabrication' for its work on the £750 million redevelopment of Birmingham New Street station.
A total of 150 employees worked to deliver the 'spine' of the project, including the impulse fan installation and a combined heat and power (CHP) district heating solution.
The division was also shortlisted in the 'Infrastructure Project of the Year' category, but was beaten by Wiehag for its work on the Crossrail station at Canary Wharf, London.
The awards ceremony took place at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London on 01 December.
